Privacy Policy

Effective: October 23, 2026

The short version: we run a news website, not a data business. We don't sell your information, we collect as little as we can, and anything you send us is used only to do the thing you asked us to do. The details are below.

What we collect

Two kinds of information. First, the ordinary technical data every website's server records when a page loads — your IP address, the browser and device you're on, which pages you opened, and when. Second, anything you deliberately send us: your name and email when you use the contact form, or the details of a press release you submit for publication.

What we do with it

The technical data keeps the site fast, secure, and working. The details you send us are used to reply to you, or to publish and credit a release you asked us to run. That's the whole list. We don't sell it, rent it, or hand it to advertisers to target you.

Cookies

We keep cookies to a minimum — the ones needed to make the site work and to count visits in aggregate. None of them identify you by name, and you can clear or block them anytime in your browser settings.

Where your data can go

Our headlines come from a third-party news API and our weather from a third-party provider. Clicking a headline takes you off our site to the original publisher, and from that point their privacy policy applies, not ours. We don't pass your browsing to either provider.

How long we keep it

Server logs are kept only as long as we need them for security and troubleshooting, then deleted — usually within 90 days. A published press release stays up until the submitter or a rights holder asks us to take it down.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you can ask us what we hold about you and have it corrected or deleted. Just ask through the contact form and we'll sort it out. The site is meant for a general audience and isn't aimed at children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect their information.

Updates & questions

If this policy changes, the "Effective" date at the top changes with it. Anything unclear? Reach us through the contact form.
